We are seeking to recruit a full-time Procurement Manager to join our growing team at PASCAL International Education, based at our Head Office in Lefkosia.

Requirements
- Establishing and structuring the procurement department for the group from the ground up, ensuring it delivers comprehensive procurement services to all associated companies, schools, and departments
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with the organisation’s operational priorities, needs and objectives
- Developing, reviewing and updating procurement policies and procedures including defining workflows, processes, and systems to support efficient and scalable operations
- Establishing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate procurement performance, including expenses, cost savings, vendor performance, and overall department efficiency
- Generating reports on purchasing and inventory activities to support decision-making and provide insights for process improvement
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders across departments of the group (e.g. education / schools, IT, F&B, maintenance, etc.), to forecast future procurement needs and managing inventory to avoid overstock or shortages
- Identifying potential suppliers through market research, negotiating contracts, prices and terms of cooperation
- Controlling purchasing costs by obtaining competitive pricing, adhering to budgets and implementing cost-saving initiatives
- Overseeing international procurement processes, including supplier management, order placement, and coordination with shipment forwarders and clearance agencies to ensure the efficient, timely, and cost-effective transportation, customs clearance, and delivery of goods
- Overseeing and ensuring accurate management of all documentation and compliance requirements for international shipments, including invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations, to facilitate seamless and compliant operations
- Prioritising and processing purchase orders, ensuring timely management and delivery to internal departments aiming to meet operational needs
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, forwarders and clearance agencies to ensure consistent quality and seamless import operations
- Identifying potential risks related to procurement activities and developing mitigation strategies to minimise disruptions
- Staying up to date on industry trends and changes in regulations and emerging suppliers to anticipate and address potential challenges
- Acquiring any other duties assigned by the management and are related to the activities of the Procurement Department
The Procurement Manager will report directly to and work in close collaboration with the Group Chief Financial Officer, ensuring that all procurement activities are strategically aligned with the organisation’s financial objectives and operational priorities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree in Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a similar field
- Minimum eight years of proven experience in the field
- Proven experience in establishing or restructuring procurement functions in an organisation, including setting up systems, processes and policies
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders
- Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly excel and data analysis
- Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written
