Requirements
- Creating a lively, communicative atmosphere in class conducive to teaching and learning
- Encouraging diligence, organisation, responsibility, self-reliance, cooperation, teamwork, honesty, understanding, and tolerance in pupils
- Planning and delivering lessons, maintaining up-to-date records and forwarding plans for inspection to the Head Teacher
- Overseeing pupils' academic and social development, according to age, ability, and aptitude
- Ensuring compliance with school rules and regulations
- Organising and issuing textbooks and other resources, maintaining records, and collecting them as needed
- Maintaining and improving personal teaching standards, sharing ideas with colleagues and staying informed about educational developments
- Attending assemblies, meetings, Parent/Teacher Evenings, and events as required
- Offering appropriate counseling to pupils or referring them to relevant support staff
- Undertaking additional tasks as assigned by the Head Teacher
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- Undergraduate Degree in Early Years Education
- Proficient level of English
- A clear philosophy on student achievement
- An ability to challenge all students to achieve excellent progress, appropriate to their needs
- An ability to contribute meaningfully to the pastoral welfare of students in your care
- An up-to-date knowledge of current educational developments
